United Democratic Alliance

The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) is a political party in Kenya that emerged as a significant player on the country's political scene in the lead-up to the 2022 general elections. It is closely associated with William Ruto, who served as the Deputy President of Kenya before ascending to the presidency in 2022. The party positions itself as a champion of the ordinary citizen, advocating for economic empowerment and a bottom-up economic model, which seeks to prioritize the needs and contributions of small-scale traders, farmers, and generally, the lower-income segments of the society…   in the economic planning and development agenda.
