Single-payer healthcare is a system where every citizen pays the government to provide core healthcare services for all residents. Under this system the government may provide the care themselves or pay a private healthcare provider to do so. In a single-payer system all residents receive healthcare regardless of age, income or health status. Countries with single-payer healthcare systems include the U.K., Canada, Taiwan, Israel, France, Belarus, Russia and Ukraine.

I think that while it is a good idea, people who don't often go to the hospital aren't paying for their own hospital stays but for others and while that is ok, I think that people should be able to opt out and if they do then they pay for their own hospital fees.

Yes, but allow people to use private insurance; use a system similar to Social Security, where everyone pays into it and can use it

No, but the system should be mostly single payer but states should be able to allow private clinics to do elective surgeries and procedures to elevate wait times.

It all depends on how much it is and if it's too expensive then I will not support it.
